New Sketch Card Set!!!

Just wanted to let everyone know that I am signed on to do 100 cards for this upcoming set. I am so excited I get to do some awesome pin-up work with one of my favorite characters :) Time to break out the pencils and paints and draw some red thongs~

RIP Ian

Just found out that a friend of ours I haven't seen in awhile passed away last night, due to an auto accident. I really hated to hear this,much less to have to call Thom and tell him that this friend who was like a little brother to him was gone. My heart goes out to his family and all of his friends. He will defenately will be missed by many.
Ian was a sweetheart and so so funny. I remember Ian helping me out one night when the power had gone off and Thom wasn't home yet. Our oldest was only a month old at the time and I was freaked to sit in a dark apartment alone. Ian came by and took us and bought candles and then hung out with me until Thom got there so I wouldn't have to be alone. I really appreciated that even to this day. I always found the running joke between Thom and Ian when Thom would always ask Ian how his mom was and the usual answer being, "Fuck you Thom"... it never got old.
You will be missed my friend, safe travels.

Happy Valentine's Day!

So today is Valentine's Day and I hope you are spending it with the one or ones you love. I have my little Valentine's tonight with me and unfortunately the husband is out hard at work arresting those who chose to not be so nice to their valentines this evening.
 I thought that I would post a few pics of my littlest one in a Valentine tradition that I have done for all three of my kids on their first Valentine's Day. That's right he's Cupid! Hope he brings a smile to your face as he has to mine, how could he not; just look how cute!

Mighty Muggs!

I have a new Mighty Mugg custom figure that I just finished in time for Valentine's Day so it is for sale if anyone is interested. He comes with his bow, arrow, two crossed arrows on his back and feathered wings :) He's super cute I think:) Message me if you are interested in him.

New Website!

So for the past few days I have been adding pictures, trying to figure out what to write about myself, questioning this and that, all to get a small basic website pulled together. Isn't that how it goes? When something is supposed to be so simple it is the very thing that takes over your life till you get it just right.

Poster Contest

So I decided to break out my pencils and paper on last minutes notice, and entered an art competition for the Orpheum Theater here in Memphis. I think I ended up with like 8 different variations of the design, but the above is the final piece that was turned in.

I should find out who the winner is sometime after next week...since they decided to extend the contest until the 29th. That to me kinda blows because I killed myself to get it done and I just think what I could have done with it had I had two extra weeks to work on it. I could have airbrushed and digitalized some of it to clean up the edges.

Oh well...................

The good thing, well the awesome thing is that I got the backing of my favorite artist Matt Busch on it. He helped out by telling me what he thought would pull it together and he was soooo right...of course. :)

Anywho, I am nervously awaiting a job interview on Tuesday that could decide what I am going to do as far as school goes, so we will see what happens.....
